主讲人简介：Germard Mare先生自1988年起担任美国国务院国际会议的同声传译，是享誉国际同传界的高级同传专家，是国际大会同声传译学会（IACI）会员和美国特殊语言专家协会（TAALS）会员，迄今已经担任数百场国际会议同传，足迹遍及世界各国。其中具有代表性的同传项目有：2008年北京奥运会和残奥会、2012年非洲高级国家领导人会议、2007年洛杉矶奥斯卡颁奖、世界牙医协会国际大会，以及联合国教科文组织大会等……
内容提要：There has been a great deal of change in the profession of conference interpretation over the last 20 years, especially in the world of free-lance interpretation. This lecture provides an overview of these changes and advances the proposition than many of these changes can be seen as a shift from the textual to the contextual world.
