国际投资是一门实务性较强的专业基础课，它以投资者跨国界投资活动为研究对象。开设该课程的目的，是使学生掌握现代国际投资基本理论，熟悉国际证券投资和国际直接投资的基本方法，培养经济全球化条件下的国际投资管理人才。 通过本课程的学习，学生将了解国际证券投资收益与风险的度量、了解国际证券投资基本理论和方法、掌握国际投资数据收集、数据处理和投资组合选择的基本技能；同时了解国际直接投资的主要理论、国际直接投资与国际贸易方式决策要点，掌握国际投资环境分析基本框架。 教学内容包括国际资本流动福利效应、国际投资收益与风险、汇率波动的影响、国际证券投资分散化的潜在收益、国际直接投资的动机、出口贸易与对外投资的决策、新建与收购的选择、独资与合资的选择、对外投资项目财务决策、以及国际投资环境分析框架等。 Course Description International Investments is a practical course intended for IET students and students of investment economics. The course is entirely conducted in English. The objective is to provide students with a working knowledge of fundamental issues in international investments. After the course, students shall be able to make investment analysis for FPI and FDI including measuring return and risk, making portfolio selections and conducting FDI project appraisal by using quantitative skills with MS-Excel.Topics include welfare effects of international capital movement, international investment return and risk, exchange rate impact, benefits for international diversification, FDI motives, choices between export and FDI, the choice between green-field venture and take-over, between wholly-owned subsidiary and joint venture, FDI projects fisibility analysis and investment environment analysis. |
