中国边疆与民族问题 课程中文简介
本课程从历史与现实、理论与实践两个相结合的视角，对当代中国边疆与民族问题的历史由来及现时代的新特点予以探讨，使学生了解中国民族问题与边疆问题相结合的复杂性，了解中国主要的边疆和海疆问题，特别是了解西藏问题和新疆问题的历史与现实，增强学生维护国家安全的忧患意识和使命感，增进广大学生对伟大祖国的热爱和民族自豪感。教学过程中要求发挥学生学习的积极性和主动性，以学生主题发言和问题讨论为主，教师讲授为辅，在强调学生学习主体意识和教师引导作用的基础上增强师生互动，加深学生对有关问题的了解与认识，增进学生探讨问题的兴趣和积极性。在观看有关录像资料片后要求学生进行讨论。本课程主要介绍中国边疆和民族问题的由来，新中国的边疆战略与民族政策和主要的边疆问题，特别分析了边疆问题与民族问题相结合的典型——西藏问题和新疆问题。基本章节包括：1、中国边疆和民族问题的由来；2新中国的边疆战略和民族政策；3、中缅、中印、中俄、中越边疆问题；4、南海诸岛争端的由来与我国南疆安全；5、中日钓鱼岛之争；6、西藏问题与我国西南边疆安全；7、新疆问题与我国西北边疆安全；8、我国解决边疆民族问题的思考。
Course Description
Teaching Objectives: This course, from the angles of view of history and reality, theory and practice, discusses the historical origin and presentnew characteristics of Contemporary China’s frontier and nation issues, helps the students understand the complexity of these issues, know about China’s main frontier and nation issues, especially understand the history and the reality of the Tibet issue and the Xinjiang issue, strengthens their senses of hardship and mission to maintain the national security, promotes their deep love of the great motherland and their national pride.Teaching Requirements: In the process of teaching, the enthusiasm and the initiative of students are required, and the speech and the question discussion by students will take the main part. This course especially emphasizes the student’s main body consciousness in studying and the teacher’s guiding function, strengthens the interaction of the teachers and students, deepens the students’ understanding of related questions, and promotes the students’ interest and enthusiasm of discussing question.Teaching Contents: This course introduces the origin and new developments of China’s frontiers and nations issues, and the main chapters are: 1, The origin and development of China’s frontiers and nations; 2, The frontier strategy and nations policy of New China; 3, The frontier issues of Sino-, Sino-Indian, Sino-Russian, Sino-Vietnamese relations; 4, The disputes of south-China sea islands; 5, The Diaoyu Island dispute between China and Japan; 6, Tibet issue; 7, Xinjiang issue.
