唐诗鉴赏 课程中文简介

Course Description
Teaching Objectives: To improve the students’ appreciation of art and literature, and pleasure to take the initiative to learn the knowledge, learn to appreciate the essence of traditional Chinese literary and enjoy the aesthetic feeling and endless charm of poetry, then think the relations of life, literature, social and the times. To understand the achievements and the prosperity of Tang poem, taste the deep thoughts, feelings and the spirit of times, and learn to write poetry, develop poetic feelings of savoring life.Teaching Requirements: This course requires students to read the famous Tang Dynasty, improve artistic accomplishments from the appreciation of poetry, master the skills of reading poetry and the knowledge related to ancient Chinese literature, and understand the Tang behind the spirit of the times, social background and poet’s creative mind, able to write the commentary on the Tang Dynasty.Teaching Contents: As the key link in the history of Tang poem, in the order of the early and late of Tang Dynasty, this course is divided into 18 units, to comment the major poets of the period and on behalf of poetry, including初唐四杰, Chen Zi-ang, Liu Xiyi, Zhang Ruoxu, Wang Wei, Gao Shi and Cen Shen, Liu Yuxi, Liu Zong-yuan, Li Bai, Du Fu, Yuan Zhen, Bai Ju-yi, Li Shang-yin, Du Mu, and many other famous poets and their works, with a detailed appreciation and analysis.
