西方文化与礼仪 课程中文简介
这是一门跨学科的通识课，针对同一选题， 同一主题， 从英、法、德、俄等国别角度进行由浅入深并有系统的论述，注重东西文化异同的比较，努力探索西方文化的本质特征；本课程有利于学生全面、系统、深入地了解和把握西方文化和礼节。知识传授与启发开导相结合， 充分发挥老师的个性和学术特长，注重课堂讨论，讲究互学互动，提倡创新，努力拿出新观点，及时传达该学术前沿的最新动态和最新成果。本课程将通过对古希腊文化、古罗马文化、中世纪基督教文化和西方近现代文化以及礼节的讲解，使全校文、理、工、医等专业的本科生了解西方文化发生、发展和演化的基本脉络，掌握西方文化史中的一些重大事件和重要人物，认识不同时代的时代精神和基本文化面貌，并且对西方文化各主要构成部分之间的动态关系、各自特色和相互联系有所了解，为同学们日后从不同专业角度进入西方文化的分支领域研究奠定必要的知识基础。
Course Description
This is an interdisciplinary core curriculum, which will discuss systematically the same topic, the same subject, from Britain, France, Germany, Russia and other countries；focusing on comparison of the similarities and differences between East and West, efforts to explore the essential characteristics of Western culture and manners； this course will be beneficial to students to have a comprehensive, in-depth understanding and grasp of Western culture. The teacher will give full play to the personality and academic expertise, focuses on class discussions, paying attention to each student’s interaction, promoting innovation, and striving to come up with new ideas for ways to convey the latest developments in the academic front and the latest results.
