媒介已经渗透到人们生活的方方面面，网络的便捷也造就了一个个公民记者。随着博客、微博、dv、手机的普及，公众获得了空前的媒介接近权，市民新闻也迅速兴起。但由此引发的新闻侵权问题也日益突出。本课程以新闻报道权为立足点，追踪与分析新闻侵权典型案例，详细阐释相关法律法规，讲解新闻侵权行为的基本构成、责任承担以及新闻侵权纠纷的预防与应对。 课程包括三部分共九章：新闻侵权法的一般法理、新闻纠纷处理、新闻侵权的预防与应对，具体内容有新闻侵害名誉权、隐私权、肖像权、姓名权、著作权、消费者权益等，涉及宪法、民法、刑法、著作权法、广告法、消费者权益保护法等。课程既注重一般新闻侵权法的原理讲解，也强调对于新闻侵权理论的实际运用，每章特别设置了经典案例评析。授课老师具有法学和新闻学双重学科背景，多年从事新闻法学和新闻理论的教学和研究。
Course Description
Media have got into every aspect of people’s lives, and the network has also created many citizen journalists. With the popularity of blog, micro-blog, DV, and mobile phones, public access to media is unprecedented, and citizen journalism is also rising rapidly. However, this has caused increasing problems of media torts. This course is based on the right of news reporting, tracking and analyzing some typical cases of media torts, elaborating on relevant laws and regulations, explaining the constitutions of media torts, responsibility, prevention and response to disputes caused by media torts. This course includes a total of nine chapters in three parts: the general legal principles of media tort laws, handling of disputes caused by media torts, prevention and response to disputes caused by media torts. The specific content includes media torts against the reputation, privacy, portrait rights, name rights, copyright, consumer rights, etc., related with constitutional law, civil law, criminal law, copyright law, advertising law, consumer protection law, etc. The course focuses on both general principles of media torts and practical application of these principles. Each chapter has analysis of some typical cases. The instructor has background in both law and journalism, and has taught and researched for many years in the news media law and principles.
