美国文化（二） 课程中文简介
教学目标：本课程旨在通过原汁原味的阅读材料和视听材料为学生开户一扇了解美国的窗户。在介绍美国社会、政府、文化与教育的同时提高学生的语言能力。引导学生以批评的眼光看待美国社会与文化。教学要求：通过阅读和视听资料使学生加深对美国社会、美国文化所体现的精神、价值观等的了解和认识，帮助学生学习阅读范文的写作语言和技巧，学会阅读、分析、理解和欣赏阅读材料。通过阅读和视听帮助学生提高英语语言水平。
Course Description
This course will be a lecture enhanced with multi-media presentations of American Culture.Each week you will be expected to have completed the reading or listening assignments for the week and be prepared to participate in a discussion.The weeks when we study textbook chapters or other supplementary readings students should be prepared to discuss and debate the topics listed for each chapter
