应用翻译与职业写作 课程中文简介
教学目标: 本课程旨在向学生介绍应用文本的类型、文体特征以及翻译目的、翻译原则、翻译策略、翻译方法与技巧，帮助学生理解英汉两种语言在句子结构、篇章特点和修辞手法等方面的异同。同时，向学生介绍如何积累应用翻译方面的平行文本，学习和借鉴前人的翻译成果，在翻译实践中自觉加以运用，为提高翻译质量和效率打下基础。 本课程的另一特点是将翻译与写作相结合，引入美国高校职业写作理念，满足目标读者的实际需求，提高外宣英译的效益。 本课程通过翻译实践，使学生熟悉各种翻译技巧, 增强对英汉语言和文化差异对翻译影响的认识, 扩展学生在相关领域的专业知识，培养学生的信息查询检索能力，扩大专业词汇量，将理论知识和翻译实践有机地结合起来， 进而提高实际翻译能力，使学生毕业后能较快胜任在技术与文化交流等领域的工作。教学要求：1．强调翻译的实践性，设计学习方法，强调阅读理解的重要性，语言功底和广博的文化知识的重要性。2．要求学生懂得如何运用所学的理论知识指导自己的翻译实践，学会使用翻译工具。教学内容： 第一讲 应用文本特征与翻译策略原则 第二讲 外宣翻译目的与策略原则 第三讲 旅游指南写译 第四讲 经管科技类学术论文摘要写译 第五讲 投资指南翻译 第六讲 企业产品译介 第七讲 职业写作（英语求职信、项目报告）
Course Description
Teaching ObjectivesThis course aims to introduce the features of non-literary texts, and the purposes, principles, strategies, and skills of translation, helping students see the difference of Chinese and English in the aspect of sentence structure, paragraph development, and rhetoric. At the same time, the course emphasizes the importance of accumulating parallel texts for reference so as to improve the accuracy and efficiency of translation.
