媒体英语读写 课程中文简介
是面向外招本科生的一门限选课，作为对外招生前期商务英语课程（1-3级）的一个拓展，本课程将注重提高学生在生活和商务情境的英语能力和媒体素养，同时也帮助学生丰富文化交际知识、积累语言文化素材、培养良好的英语语感和训练正确的交流方式。学会获取、理解、使用、评鉴传媒英语信息是当代大学生必备的能力之一。每个大学生都应具备对媒体信息进行理性的思考、过滤、甄别的传媒英语能力 , 它是高校大学生应具备的基本人文素养； 传媒相关专业的学生应从传媒领域的实际需要出发, 掌握用英语从事传媒领域职业的传媒专业英语能力, 它是现代传媒人必不可少的职业技能和职业素养。借助新闻英语、影视英语以及网络英语等等鲜活语言材料，以及相应的听力、口语以及文化交流的社会素材，学生可望接触到原汁原味的英语环境和真实自然的语用能力，通过课堂中的各种文化交际活动，比如媒体情景对话、媒体角色扮演和媒体案例等等学习方式获得英语能力和媒体素养的训练机会。学生通过本课程的学习，要求掌握相关媒体词汇、能在一些熟悉的传媒情景中用英语进行交际，以及表达自我和交流观点的文化交际能力。
Course Description
Media English is a semi-optional course for those under-graduates from abroad, and it is an extension of the Business English Courses (Band 1- 3). This course combines English education with media studies, and emphasizes the English ability and the media understanding for the students, while at the same time it help them to expand their cultural competence, improves their language skills and sharpen their linguistic sense in language input and output. In this course, students are going to experience the real English material from various sources of media, e.g., newspaper, radio, TV, and Internet. With the good English environment and the interactive communication, they are expected to acquire not only the English language as a foreign language but also the media knowledge.
