Dennis Gorecki 教授简介
 
Dr. Dennis Gorecki is Professor Emeritus of Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan, where he served as Dean from July 1998 to August 2009.  He also received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree and a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from this university.
 
Dr. Gorecki has research interests and expertise in drug design, pharmaceutical analysis, and pharmacopeial standards of drugs, dietary supplements and natural health products. 
 
For the past 24 years, Dr. Gorecki has provided service to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) in the areas of dietary supplements, non-prescription drugs and chemistry.  He currently serves on the USP Council of Experts as Chair of the Dietary Supplements and Herbal Medicines Expert Committee, Chair of the Expert Panel on the Adulteration of Dietary Supplements with Drugs and Drug Analogs, and the Governance Committee.  Dr. Gorecki also serves as Chair of the Drug Advisory Committee of Saskatchewan, and served on the Health Canada Scientific Advisory Committee on Non-Prescription Drugs, and was a member of the Health Canada Natural Health Products Program Advisory Committee.
