   题  目：Asymptotic Solutions of Eigenmodes in Slab Optical Waveguides(平板光波导中特征模的渐近解)
内容简介：In this talk, we consider PML modes for two-dimensional slab waveguides, where the waveguides are with three layers of possibly different refractive indexes for both the Transverse Electric (TE ) and the Transverse Magnetic (TM) cases. It is shown that the PML modes consist of perturbed propagating modes, perturbed leaky modes, and two infinite sequences of Berenger modes. High-order asymptotic solutions for both the leaky and the Berenger modes are given using a systematic approach. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the asymptotic approach is very good.

报告人简介：浙江大学数学系教授、博士生导师、浙江省“钱江学者”特聘教授，主要从事微分方程数值解法（包括反问题）、工程问题数学建模与科学计算的研究。主持国家级科研项目6项、省部级科研项目6项，主参国家重大科学研究计划。已发表学术论文80余篇。
